Bright medium red. Complex, expressive nose combines red fruits, stone, licorice and a deep kernel of pepper, spices and herbs. Lush and spicy in the mouth, with raspberry and cranberry flavors complicated by a hint of saline minerality. Finishes with lush tannins and a lingering herbal element. Fairly large-scaled for village wine. This has turned out very well.
